Sessions are delivered conveniently via MS Teams each day from 09:00 to 17:00, minimising disruption to your existing commitments.

Funding & Flexibility
Full Funding for Unemployed
The course fee is typically £3,500, but it is fully funded for individuals not currently in employment.
Low Employer Contribution
For employed learners, there's only a small employer contribution of £175, making it highly accessible for professional development.
Should you miss a session, catch-up opportunities are available for applicable modules, provided all training is completed within the 16-week cut-off.
Modules 1 & 2: Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Threat Landscape
Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity
Define core cybersecurity concepts, understand digital risks, and explore the People, Process, and Technology (PPT) model. Learn how digital systems can be compromised and the critical role human behaviour plays in security.
Module 2: Understanding Cyber Threats
Explore different types of threat actors, their motivations, and common cyberattack methods. You'll learn to explain various threat actor profiles and analyse how common attacks are executed in real-world scenarios.
These foundational modules establish the critical knowledge base you'll need throughout your cybersecurity career, focusing on both technical concepts and the human elements that influence security outcomes.
Modules 3 & 4: Risk Management and Data Protection
Business Risk and Compliance
In Module 3, you'll understand the business impacts of cyber incidents and key compliance frameworks including GDPR, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials. Learn to evaluate cyber risk in a business context and explain how compliance frameworks mitigate that risk.

You'll develop practical skills in risk assessment methodologies that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Data Protection and Privacy
Module 4 focuses on applying the principles of data minimisation, lawful processing, and privacy by design in workplace settings. You'll complete a basic Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and understand your data protection responsibilities.

Password Security
